Officiante de cérémonie

If you ask me why this role of Ceremony Officiant and why now, I would tell you that it’s because I am passionate. Because it's you, for you, with you. Because it's about people and what emanates from them. My friends often say that I am a good story-teller. I can't wait to hear yours!
I am looking forward to meeting you and celebrating you.

Officiant de cérémonie laïque belgique

Career

I was born in Belgium in March 1987. I grew up and I still live in Brussels, with Billy, a super sociable and endearing French bulldog.
After graduating in Business & Administration in 2010, I traveled alone for a year, in the United-States and South-America. I visited wonderful places, made lifelong friendships,
tasted cuisines from all over the world and finally realized that I was in love with people. It was a pivotal moment in my life, which will define my professional and personal choices.
Today, 12 years later, I am responsible for training and development in an international consulting firm.
This role – surprisingly linked to the one of Ceremony Officiant – encourages me every day to listen, understand, support, coach my colleagues and above all, to identify their needs in
order to maximize the potential that exists in them!
When I told you that it is about people and what emanates from them, we are there.
This is the common denominator of all my passions.

In 2016

I have taken the most frightening and extraordinary step of my life. I went on stage as a
stand-up comedian. The stage, this mystical and magical place. The audience, the spotlight, the
adrenaline and my heart beating so fast it could explode, is where I feel alive, where I am
closest to people and what touches them deeply.

Today, with these professional and personal experiences in international environments, I
have the chance to combine three roles, or should I say passions – Coach, Comedian and
Officiant – that everything seems to oppose. And yet, if we take a closer look, they are
complementary and allow me to offer you an angle of view, creativity, personalization and
expertise that are essential to ceremonies.

STEPS

THE ENCOUNTER

Tell me your story over coffee or lunch! Share your ceremony ideas, tell me what is important to you, who the speakers are and what you expect from our collaboration.

THE PROPOSAL

Depending on the two previous meetings and your answers to a questionnaire that I will send you at the end of the first stage, I will make you a proposal for the complete structure of your ceremony.

THE REHEARSAL

The same concept as the "rehearsal dinner" in the United States, I suggest that we have lunch or dinner with the witnesses -and/or other speakers-, you and me in order to go through the key moments of the ceremony together, we ensure that the role of everyone is clear and eventually, we spend time together before the D-Day.

THE WITNESSES

They know you best, don't they? Are they friends or family members? Will they take part in the ceremony? I would like to meet them and involve them, if you wish.

THE FINALIZATION

Based on your feedback from the previous step, I will adjust the first proposal and let you know in the days that follow. If you allow me, let me surprise you by not disclosing all aspects of the ceremony… Trust me.

THE CEREMONY

Your day has arrived, everything is ready. My role is to be in charge of the ceremony so that you can enjoy it to the fullest, without worrying about anything else than sharing this exceptional moment with your loved ones.
